French Tole Cachepot Scalloped Edge Lion Paw Feet, Large
About the Item
A beautiful and relatively large rare French tole flower or plant cachepot basket with lion paw feet, in the Rocco style, circa early-20th century, France. This metal tole cachepot is black with gold trim and lion paw feet base. Nature design, also trimmed in gold, includes a flower/floral chintz motif at center base, two blue birds on either side, front center scene with trees, urn, and small pond, finished with top and bottom scalloped edge trimmed in gold. Alternate uses could include umbrella stand, waste basket, etc. Shown holding faux plant (for photo-op only.) Marked 'Made in France' on bottom/underside. Dimensions: 13.5" Depth x 15.63" Width x 21" Height.
