About the Item

This early planter by Hans Sumpf features a hand formed pattern much like Stan Bitters "Thumb" pieces and is covered in a cream glaze. This particular planter has a chunky form with thick walls. It is in excellent structural condition showing only minor wear consistent with its age. The piece has drill holes in the base for drainage. Crafted in the 1960s/1970s.
