Marine Shells Cachepot, Mid-20th Century

About the Item

Marine shells cachepot is a beautiful vase realized in the mid-20th century. This amazing and unique cachepot is entirely realized with a composition of marine shells. Good conditions except for some traces of soil. It was part of a decorative project designed by Erté (Romain de Tirtoff) during 1970s. The natural marine shells used for this cachepot include Pecten shells spp a non-species regulated under the Washington Convention (CITES).
