1932 - 2020 Mr. Maxwell was a pro artisan ceramicist. These two pieces are a fine example of his classic designs. Wheel thrown clay with finely carved starburst and curved line motif. Both are natural clay on the outside. The tall one is glazed inside with an olive hue. The other has a sort of natural bisque coat inside with a small nick on the rim and is 7"h x 7.5"w.
