About the Item
We are delighted to offer for sale this exquisite pair of Walnut, Gold Gilt Bronze mounted pedestals with Italian Green marble tops and mirrored backs circa 1920-1940
These are a highly decorative and well made pair of circa 1920-1940 pedestals. They are covered in gilt bronze all over, the timber patina is glorious, they are nicely aged and look and feel every bit the Regency decadence they intended
Condition wise we have cleaned waxed and polished them from top to bottom, they will have age and use related patina marks all over, I can see some knocks to the front of one and some losses to the brass trim in places
