About the Item

Elegant pair of turned and carved columns in the round, made of wood and fully gilded with pure gold leaf, with a particularly brilliant and rich finish. The columns are inspired by the Empire style and feature a slender shaft with refined ornamental motifs in relief at the bottom, resting on a circular base with rich sculptural elements. The top is made of white marble, with a diameter of 41 cm. The columns are fully gilded on the back as well, making them perfect for a center room display. These are handcrafted items, presumably made in the 1980s, as reproductions of fascinating historical models. Slight difference in height between the two elements: one column measures 102 cm, the other 101 cm. Decorative objects with great stage presence and quality, ideal for classical settings or to enhance artwork and sculptures. Dimensions: Height: 102 cm and 101 cm Marble top diameter: 41 cm Base circumference: about 41 cm International shipping available. For more information, please feel free to contact us.
