About the Item

An elegant and palatally scaled pair of Italian Turn of the Century Porphyry, Alabaster and Sarrancolin marble planters. Each exceptional planter is raised on a square Porphyry base below the Alabaster Roman socle with mottled and rounded edges. The socle supports the wonderful Sarrancolin marble column above, which leads to the large scale Alabaster vessel. The carved Alabaster planters display elegant mottled bands, an ogee edge and smooth interior. Top Dimensions: L 16.75" x D: 16.75" Base Dimensions: L: 10.75" x D: 10.75"
