This is a great example of the Portuguese Majolica Faience from the Manufacture of Caldas da Rainha., Raphael Bordallo Pinheiro, 1846-1905 This iPair of Portuguese Majolica Palissy Frog Planters. were actually called spittoons and they used to have lids. They are marked in hollow and also have the old stamp. Very good vintage condition, consistent with age and use, no chips or repairs. Please view large photos for details.
