Inventore della cosiddetta "Cucina POP", basata sulla semplicità e sulle materie prime umili, Oldani firma la collezione di quattro contenitori dalle forme ispirate alla natura, pratici e simbolici allo stesso tempo.
Il contenitore a forma di zucca è disponibile in tre colori: gesso, grigio e cobalto

Taac di Davide Oldani, ideatore della Cucina POP e allievo del celebre chef Gualtiero Marchesi, è una reinterpretazione metaforica del significato di stagionalità a tavola che si esprime attraverso oggetti ispirati alla natura e ai sapori che arricchiscono il nostro quotidiano. La collezione è composta da quattro contenitori in ceramica smaltata a forma di zucca, cipolla, asparago e galletto, disponibili in tre colori: gesso, grigio e cobalto. Questi quattro elementi elevano, tramite la sensorialità, il significato stesso dell’ingrediente. Ciascun pezzo della collezione, composto da un contenitore il cui coperchio - una cloche - rivela la ricetta con i sapori della tavola, è l’icona di una stagione e ne suggerisce l’utilizzo. Gli oggetti sono funzionali ma anche decorativi, utilizzabili sia in cucina che a tavola o in soggiorno.
About The Designer:
Davide Oldani, ideatore della Cucina POP - alta qualità e accessibilità - ha aperto nel 2003 il suo ristorante, il D’O, a Cornaredo, in provincia di Milano, suo paese d’origine. Dopo un anno di attività, le più autorevoli guide gastronomiche lo annoverano fra i grandi chef della cucina italiana. Riceve infatti diversi riconoscimenti come la stella dalla Guida Michelin nel 2004, l’Ambrogino d’oro dal Comune di Milano nel 2008 e nel 2013 viene invitato ad Harvard per raccontare la sua esperienza imprenditoriale in seguito a una case history sul suo ristorante pubblicata sulla Harvard Business School Review.
Nel maggio 2014 ha visto nascere il Davide Oldani Cafè – nella nuova Piazza del lusso in un’area dell’Aeroporto di Malpensa a Milano.
Ha pubblicato diversi libri, tra cui Cuoco andata e ritorno (2008), Le D’Onne lo sanno (2018), Mangia come parli (Luglio 2020), e POP Food (2021) edizione tascabili Feltrinelli.
Nel 2016 ha inaugurato il suo nuovo D’O, un’evoluzione del precedente, per poter realizzare una cucina più “grande”, capace di confrontarsi con altre cucine nel nostro Paese e non solo.
Nel novembre 2020 la Guida Michelin gli conferisce la seconda stella per l’anno 2021 e la stella Verde Michelin, simbolo della sostenibilità.
La sua attività di designer, nata dall’osservazione quotidiana dell’ospite, rispecchia quella di cuoco: tavoli, sedie, piatti, posate e bicchieri sono ispirati al POP: semplici, funzionali, eleganti
