About the Item

Early 19th century empire toleware decorative urn circa 1830. Rare decorative urn that would have been used for incense or pot pourri. Original black paint with very strong grecian influences with the gilt painted greek key and embellishments.  Partially gilt flame to the top of lid. Expected losses to paintwork.  Superb period decorative item.
