Large Empire Style Gilt-Bronze and Cut-Glass 'Grande Coupe' Urn Centerpiece

A Large and Impressive French Empire Revival Style Gilt-Bronze and Cut-Glass 'Grande Coupe' Figural Urn Centerpiece, in the manner of Baccarat, the mounts in the manner of and after Pierre-Philippe Thomire (French, 1751-1843). The two-part ovoid finely cut-glass bowl surmounted with twin figures of Napoleonic style winged maidens, with a chased gilt-bronze ornamental trim, all above a square chased gilt-bronze plinth chased with acanthus leaves, in the manner of Baccarat. Circa: Mid to late 20th Century. Measure: Height: 20 1/2 inches (52.1 cm) Width: 22 inches (55.9 cm) Depth: 16 1/4 inches (41.3 cm) Base: 9 7/8 x 9 7/8 inches (25.1 cm).
