Antique Second Empire French Doré Gilt Bronze Vases or Urns

About the Item

A fine pair of antique French gilt bronze vases. Decorated with an assembly of musical instruments, a gourd, and even a hat. Extremely solid and finely cast, these urns or vases are much heavier in the hand than one would expect. Simply the finest quality! Date: Late 19th Century Overall Condition: They are in overall good, as-pictured, used estate condition. Condition Details: There are spots of oxidation throughout, some rubbing to the gold (particularly in the high points), and some light edge wear. Otherwise, there are some fine & light surface scratches and other signs of expected light wear consistent with age. Measurements: Height: ca. 10 3/8 in. Diameter: ca. 2 7/8 in.
