About the Item
A fine cast iron urn, late 19th century production.
Our grand décor piece has been hand-painted by our restorer. The vase is ornately decorated : the Louis XVI style laurels garlands and the grotesques-shaped side handles are painted in the style of patinated bronze. The background is a very sophisticated marble hand-painted in trompe-l'oeil style.
Our urn is spectacular, ideal to place in a large vestibule or stairwell or to complete a neoclassical interior decoration. Superb piece of high-style classical decor.
