Large Studio Pottery vase or vessel in a Japanese style. This large Japanese style ceramic vase is handcrafted in organic, contemporary, vintage and Mid-Century Modern style. Very decorative large vase with narrow bottom. Signed by the artist Gail Markiewicz. This handcrafted ceramic piece uses a unique process whereby it is pressed antique and contemporary textures into clay. The surface is hand painted with thinned out colored clay which allows for color to be imbedded in the surface. Another layer of color is added through the use of various glazes. It is a tall stately ceramic vessel. Looks great flanking a fireplace, on a table or countertop or anywhere you need symmetry. This very decorative and unique ceramic vase or vessel was designed and handcrafted by Gail Markiewicz. Measures: Diameter 11.50 in. x Height 24.25 in.
