Nice Pair of French Pots à Feu Finials, 5+ Ft Tall

About the Item

A French pair of large-sized, wood-carved pot à feu (fire urn) finials. This vintage pair of finials from France, each standing just over five feet in height, have teardrop-shaped urn bodies embellished in a shell, scroll, and acanthus leaf motif, with fire projecting from its topside, and supported upon rounded pedestal bases. The bronze/gold coloring with merlot accents, help define the various details and show movement and depth. These French "Pots à Feu" will make a fabulous statement together in a room, perhaps flanking an entryway, or grounding/adding visual interest to either side of a room, window, or larger furniture piece.
