About the Item
A beautiful pair of French 19th century Louis XVI st. Belle Époque period onyx and cloisonné centerpiece tazzas. Each tazza is raised by an elegant square onyx base with fine concave corners and a lovely bottom ormolu fillet. The dome shaped socle shaped support displays a wrap around mottled band and a most decorative cloisonné design below the lovely foliate central support and handsome richly chased beaded men. The circular top displays additional stunning cloisonné designs with beautiful scrolled foliate movements and wonderfully vivid colors.
