Pair of French 19th Century Neo-Classical St. Patinated Bronze and Ormolu Urns

About the Item

A handsome pair of French 19th century Neo-Classical st. patinated bronze and ormolu urns. Each urn is raised by a square patinated bronze base with an elegant central diamond reserve, fine bottom ormolu fillet, and a beautiful wrap around Coeur de Rai band. The square pedestal supports display fluted ionic ormolu columns flanking central plaques displaying noblemen in capes while the other depicts men moving an urn and column. The ormolu urns above display reeded and Les Oves bands at the bases and lovely foliate designs and personages harvesting wheat. All original gilt and patina throughout.
