About the Item

Pair of Italian, Yellow and Green, Earthenware Urns with Removable Lids. The pair are identical and in very good vintage condition. We consider ours ideal as they come with lids (The urns without lids are 24", with the lids they reach 31"). The front lions are wonderful and the handles are also a wonderful touch, however, best to handle them holding the bottom or cradling them due to weight of 45+ pounds each The hand crated and painted qualities give the pair a beautiful Bright yellow and green fired glaze - while they could work as storage, they are Highly decorative and a compliment to many spaces - flanking a console atop or underneath, flanking a doorway, or guiding one into a special room or garden space. Purely Italian charm. At over 45 pounds they are very stable. We have found the price guidance tool is not an accurate comparison of Low to High pricing on the platform. We price our pieces competitively and take great pride in presenting exceptional pieces and many times include additional materials and respected craftsmanship. If you have questions about descriptions, pricing or provenance please feel free to contact us for additional information.
