This is a vintage decorative baluster urn. A Chinese, ceramic lidded vase, dating to the Art Deco period, circa 1930.
Wonderfully substantial urn, with attractive decorative finish
Displays a desirable aged patina and in good order
White ceramic ground accentuated with a profuse foliate pattern
Cobalt blue laid upon the white ground with foliate and character motif
Appealing baluster form replete with a domed lid and small finial
Character marks adorn the wide circular base
Reassuringly robust feel, with a weight of 2.22kg (4.89 lb)
