Sculptural Murano glass vase or centerpiece in purple hues and milk white glass, Italy, 1960s.
Using the Sommerso technique the interior part is made in Opaline glass and the exterior part is lilac / purple glass, darker on the rims. Sommerso technique is based upon submerging glass of one color in layers of glass different color.
Beautiful shape with organic design and highly decorative placed alone or as a part of a composition.
