About the Item

Vintage 1960s stunning heavy "Ice Glass" vase designed by Uno Westerberg for Pukeberg Sweden. It offers a superb organic design and beautiful dimensions, ideal for accommodating medium- to large-sized bouquets. The work is full of sparkles and textured effects, typical of the ice glass style. Excellent vintage condition. No chips, cracks or damage. Very heavy piece at xx lbs. 11" tall x 7.5” diameter at widest point Pukeberg was founded in Sweden in 1871 by C.W. Nystrom, who had previously worked at Kosta. Pukeberg began producing decorative glass in the 1930s, and is still in production today. Renowned designers who have worked at Pukeberg include Uno Westerberg between 1935 - 1978, Goran Warff 1958 - 1964, Ann Warff, Eva Englund 1964 - 1973, and Erik Hoglund during the 1970s.
