About the Item

Syrian Damascened copper & polychrome enamel repoussé broad-rimmed vase featuring a band of Hebrew and Kabbalistik letters below the rim. This vase was made for the Jews of Damascus, to serve as a decorative object in their homes. The body of the vase tapers from the band of letters downward toward the base, revealing colorful enamel bird illustrations & Oriental images amongst patterns of geometric motifs and vegetation. Every item in Menorah Galleries is accompanied by a Lifetime Certificate of Authenticity and additional documentation and information regarding the individual artifact and its culture.
