2 pieces Wiktor Berndt for Flygsfors 60´s glass vases "Tribal"

About the Item

Flygsfors and Wiktor Berndt had a collaboration from 1956 to 1975 when Orrefors took over the ownership of Flygsfors. Wiktor Berndt then continued to work at Orrefors until 1979. Wiktor Berndt developed the "Tribal" series during the 50-60s at Flygsfors. Wiktor Berndt used a different expression and technique than Paul Kedelv in his design, this also meant that his objects could differ greatly from each other in their expressions. This was also the company's heyday with perhaps Europe's most expansive product development. These two vases in particular are made with a completely different glass technique than, for example "Flamingo", which gives the vases a heavier and rawer design - a very powerful expression in light and dark. Easy to put money on! H - 18 cm W - 14 cm
