20th Century Italian Sterling Silver Baroque Vase
About the Item
Large baroque style sterling silver vase.
The body of the vase has been masterfully embossed with shells, flowers and volutes, typical of the Baroque style.
Still in the body of the vase, some parts have been left shiny to highlight the great embossing and chisel work carried out.
The base of the vase, round and with one step, has the right proportions to slim and streamline the figure of the vase.
The base was then lightly hammered.
In the upper part, the large mouth of the vase is suitable for containing a good quantity of long-stemmed flowers.
