About the Item

Haresfur glazed beauty with abstract motif in an elongated ovoid shape. This unique stoneware vase was designed by Danish artist Ellen Madsen and manufactured in her studio Lee Keramik in Denmark during the 1970s. Ellen Madsen designed together with Ole Bøgild several lamp bases for Le Klint during the 1970s and 1980s. Ellen in particular was inspired by the Swedish masters Stahlhane, Nylund and Lindberg. The subtle softness of the hares fur technique is a testimony of this.
