Great avant garde ceramic object by Angelo Mangiarotti (1921 – 2012) for Danese Milano. 1964. This is an object out of the series ‘Tremiti Formalibera’. The shapes of this Mangiarotti design show a great dynamic and the flowing lines make this a real piece of eye candy on your table or sideboard. Mangiarotti was a multi talented man and one of the great designers of the 20th century. He is known for his marble tables and lighting design, but he also left his mark in ceramics. During his career he designed several avant garde ceramic vases and sculptures for several companies. Great shape and marked underneath.
