Antique Bohemian Cranberry Overlay Cut to Clear Glass Vase with Roses

About the Item

A fine antique Bohemian glass vase. With a cranberry overlay cut to clear glass. Wheel engraved with various species of roses to the body in the Moser style. Simply a top-level Bohemian or Czech glass vase! Provenance: From the estate of Catherine Spencer Eddy Beveridge (1881-1970), who was a Socialite and Philanthropist, wife of Senator Beveridge of Indiana, and niece of Marshall Filed and by descent in her family. Date: 19th Century Overall Condition: It is in overall good, as-pictured, used estate condition. Condition Details: There is some rubbing to the gilt rim and a few tiny nicks & fleabites to highpoints or edges here and there. Otherwise, there are some fine & light surface scratches and other signs of expected light wear consistent with age. Measurements: Height: ca. 13 5/8 in. Diameter: ca. 5 7/8 in.
