Antique Japanese Cloisonne White Enamel Vase with Birds
About the Item
The globular shaped vase is adorned with polychrome enamel floral, foliage, and swirl motifs, and an image of a Phoenix bird on the white ground made in the Cloisonne technique. The base features swirl and lotus flower patterns made in the same technique. Marked with a red seal stamp, on the bottom. Circa: late 19th century.
