About the Item

An antique Japanese, late Meiji era, Ginbari enamel over copper vase. The urn shaped vase is enameled with a polychrome image of blossoming flowers on the light blue ground made in the Ginbari Cloisonne technique. Ginbari is a Japanese cloisonne technique when clear enamel is laid over a stippled silver layer applied to the copper sheet body. narked with an impressed stamp, on the bottom. Circa: late 19th century to early 20th century. Antique and Vintage Asian and Oriental Enamel Vases, Table Wares, Home Decor, and Collectibles. OVERALL GOOD ANTIQUE CONDITION. SIGNS OF WEAR AND AGE.
