Antique Miniature Japanese Cloisonne Enamel Celadon Color Vase with Butterflies

About the Item

A miniature Japanese Meiji period vase, 1868 to 1912. The globular vase slightly tapering to the bottom decorated in polychrome enamels and copper wires depicting dark and light purple chrysanthemums with aquamarine leaves, and pink, yellow and blue butterflies on a mint green ground. The bright lime bottom is adorned with cloisonne enamels in the same style. Antique and Vintage Asian and Oriental Enamel Vases, Table Wares, Home Decor, and Collectibles.
