Antique Rare Pottery Coated with Copper Plate Used in Japan/Tsubo Wabisabi

About the Item

It is used in Japan. It seems to be in the Edo period (1700s-1800s). But details are unknown. The unique distorted shape is beautiful. The color and balance of the glaze are also exquisite and wonderful. It is coated with a copper plate. We wonder how it was made, but it's a very rare piece anyway. The aged look of the copper plate is very attractive and we feel "wabi-sabi" in the part that is partially peeled off. Such vases are very very rare.
