About the Item
A Japanese enamel vase, Ota Kichisaburo School, Meiji period, 1868 to 1912. The baluster body finely worked in silver wire vase, adorned with a polychrome design representing a pair of cranes on a pond with blossoming plants made in the Cloisonne technique. The neck and the base are decorated with polychrome foliage and floral ornaments made in the same technique. Unmarked.
