Archimedes Seguso, Murano Art Glass very large handled vase, Lim. Ed. 2/4 A huge 40 cm high and very thick hand-blown glass in an upwardly tapering model with handles in a scalloped shape. Colored in clear glass with gold flakes. Signed on the bottom of the vase with Murano Seguso 2/4. This vase is limited of 2 from the 4 vases made. The vase is 40 cm high, 41 cm wide (handles) and the depth is 22,5 cm. The weight is approx. 11 kilos. The glass of the vase is 2 cm thick and the handles 5 cm thick. Archimedes Seguso is a Family Tradition of the Finest Murano Handblown Glass since 1397. They are the finest artists in glass of chandeliers and objects.

Archimede Seguso was born in Murano on December 17, 1909. At the age of 11 he began working in the furnace and refined his skill by making eighteenth-century glass.
