About the Item

Beautiful stoneware vase in light glazing handmade by Arne Bang in Denmark the 1930s. Painted with signature "AB" to base. Model no 121. Arne Bang (1901-1983) was a Danish sculptor and ceramic designer. Bang was a trained sculptor and made sculptures in the public space. It is as a designer of stoneware, silver and tin that he is known nationally and internationally. In 1929, Arne Bang got a job at Holmegaard Glasværk, where he started and was responsible for the production of Holmegaards Stentøj.
