About the Item

Very stylish and appealing Art Deco matching pair of uranium cut glass vases. The colour is a lemon yellow with black enamelling and etched accents and the condition is excellent, some clouding in the bases , no damage, all are free from chips, nibbles etc. These vases show real quality quality and we know the new lucky owner will be nothing less than absolutely delighted with them. Good size for modern day use. BIO The most common colour of uranium glass is pale yellowish-green, which in the 1930s led to the nickname "Vaseline glass" based on a perceived resemblance to the appearance (which was a yellow-green colour) of Vaseline brand petroleum jelly as formulated and commercially sold at that time. This piece definitely won't disappoint, we defy the new owner not to fall in love it.
