About the Item

Alfredo Barbini’s lifed crossed the whole 20th century, and left an indelible mark on the craft of Murano Glass. Initially master glassmaker at Zecchin & Martinuzzi, then founder at Vamsa and eventually of his namesake furnace, Barbini created some of the most beautiful modern Murano pieces. The present vase-sculpture, very big in size, timeless and perfectly preserved, bears his coveted signature behind the base. It will be a treasured addition to any curated collection of Murano Glass.
