About the Item

Vintage Space Age vase in cast aluminium, with a hole in the middle and a hand-painted ring on a brushed finish. The carefully refinished surface completely hides the weld joining the two shells, which only remains visible looking inside the vase. The piece, a stunning sculpture in its own right, is hollow - yet the presence of the hole makes it an unlike flower vase. Like all other items from Spinzi Milano, this vase is part of a wide curated collection of Mid-Century and Space Age decoratives, available for private homes and interior decoration projects. Most likely made around the mid-1970s, and therefore almost fifty years old, the vase is preserved in remarkably good conditions. Apart from an overall even patina and minor signs, which do not compromise its appeal in any way it is perfectly preserved. There are no dents or other major signs of damage.
