Blown glass vase to aspire lilac
About the Item
This Murano blown glass vase was created by Vetreria d' Este e Zane of Murano.
Different types of workmanship are present in this vase:
Lattice work: a technique that uses transparent glass rods (glass rods) containing straight or intertwined white threads inside, creating an embroidery effect (lace) inside
The second technique is the murrine technique of stones that are melted inside the glass that is blown creating a pattern that is not predefined but drawn by the heat of the melted murrine.
The third technique is that of wrought glass after being created, the vase is taken to the grinding room, and the glass is "beaten" cold-that is, sculpted by the master by hand using a tool called a grinding wheel in such a way as to create countless small, seemingly irregular marks.The vase was cold-signed by the master, and its spiral shape makes it a unique model.
