Bronze Vase by Claude Michel Clodion
Bronze with a lid on a red marble base, decorated in relief with scenes of cherubs in various positions and wreaths of flowers, framed by garlands that run around the body of the vase. On the sides, it features satyr heads with prominent horns, and on the lid, a pine cone-shaped finial. The finish displays a patina in dark brown and aged gold tones, while the turned marble base features natural red and black veining, adding contrast to the ensemble.
