Mrs. Fannie M Banks For Cincinnati Pottery Club (American, 19th century) Circa 1879. An antique 19th century vase by Mrs. Fannie M Banks. The vase made of porcelain has cobalt detailing to base and stem with gilt detailing throughout. The main body of the vase has two sparrows perched on a tree branch. This is a very rare piece of Cincinnati history that seldom comes available. Signed to underside Cincinnati Pottery Club "FMB". A great guide to continuing research is page 180 in Kovels Collectors Guide to American Art Pottery.
