The work of Carl-Harry Stalhane, who supported the golden age of Rorstrand with Gunnar Nylund and was active as a designer and art director.
There are three types of his art pieces: one-of-a-kind unique pieces, pieces produced in small quantities, and mass-produced pieces.
This is a unique piece that was created under his own hands and supervision in many processes.
It is a second quality piece with a horizontal line marking the unique number of this piece on the underside of the bottom, probably due to uneven glaze.
Usually, unique pieces are destroyed if they are omitted in the final check, but this piece was not destroyed for some unknown reason.
This is a heavy piece with a powerful geometric form produced in 1957.
