Contemporary Ceramic Art

About

The ever so sensitive and temperamental work of Harm Kamerlingh Onnes (1893-1985). Onnes was a Dutch painter and ceramist who also produced designs and stained-glass windows. He is best known for the small, humorous vignettes of everyday life. This work of art in the form of a small ceramic cup is emotionally charged and depicts the contradicting mood swings we know in day to day life. Four emotive faces, and one raised eyebrow.
