Artificial Nature is a collaboration between the artist and design duo Josephine Andredottir and Emilie Bobek
They have in this project imitated landscape with artificial materials and created an artificial scene of nature because art and design often find common ground here they ask themselves, can we live in an artificial landscape without nature or can nature be found in the artificial materials.
Here you are allowed to explore the materials and explore moss and stone in a new way. The many handcrafted shapes give a natural rough looking surface that allows the eyes to wander and find new places to investigate.

All pieces are one of a kind and each vase is unique.

Hand crafted by Andredottir & Bobek
Crystal- vase and flower pot in fade purple/pink - Handcrafted pieces, Is made of mattress/foam which has been hardened with resin and stained with colors.
It is made as a decorative sculpture-vase or flowerpot for dried flowers and comes in different sizes.
The vase is sustainable as they use reused foam for the objects.
All pieces comes out unique.
The piece has a rye surface and should therefore only be cleaned carefully with a vacuum cleaner and never a wet cloth.
It is an art/design piece so don't put water in it, if you have a cylinder glass vase you can always put that in it for fresh flowers.

Chrystal vase imitates landscape with artificial materials. We create an artificial scene of nature because art and design often find common ground here.
The natural colours of rock, stone and moss are what first comes to the eye when looking at the scene from far away, but when moving in between the shapes you slowly feel the transformation from natural to artificial within the objects. Sculptural function as well as physical function is not an aim in itself but is instead replaced with a diverse landscape where the object floats together as a whole.
