A superb hand-blown Murano art glass vase signed by D. Zamora, crafted in Venice in the late 20th century. This petite, sculptural vase is a refined example of the traditional Murano filigrana technique, featuring precisely twisted canes of cobalt blue and white spiraling in a harmonious optical rhythm across its rounded form.
The flared mouth of the vase is accented by a distinctive ring of white enamel dots, a rare and visually arresting detail that enhances the rhythmic geometry of the design. This dotted rim adds a touch of whimsy and highlights the artisan’s technical control and decorative finesse.
The vase tapers elegantly from its full shoulder to a narrow base, balancing visual movement with formal restraint. The underside bears the etched signature “D.
