Danish Brutalist Pair of Square Rustic Ceramic Vases by Jytte Trebbien 1970

About the Item

Pair of mid-century Danish brutalist style square vases by ceramist and artist Jytte Trebbien handmade in the 1970´s. The rustic vases are made of chamotte clay which gives a rough and vivid surface. The large vase has a glossy greenish-brown glaze with turquoise elements. The smaller has a glossy glaze in shades of blue. The vases have a fine expression and a delicate surface that suits both brutalist style as well as the more traditional scandinavian. Measurements: The largs vase: Height 22 cm Length 14 cm Width 12 cm The smaller vase: Height 15 cm Length 12 cm Width 10 cm Very nice vintage condition without chips, crack or repair.
