About the Item
A stunning miniature midcentury Italian Murano art glass fazzoletto (handkerchief) vase designed by Dino Martens for Aureliano Toso, circa 1954. The vase is made in the Fasce Bianco Nero design combining white and black ribbons with a gold aventurine strand in a clear glass body with the ribbons gathering under the foot. The hand blown vase has a flat ground base with a rough recessed Ponti mark and is not otherwise marked.
In excellent condition with light wear commensurate with age and use.
