Doe & Rogers Worcester Malvern Priory Hand Painted Porcelain Spill Vase

About the Item

A rare and exceptional Georgian Worcester porcelain spill vase hand painted with a scene of Malvern Priory by Doe & Rogers and dating from around 1810/20. This finely made vase stands on a wide rounded foot applied with gilding, the body very finely hand painted with a scene of Malvern Priory set within a landscape within a simple rectangular gilded frame and within a blue painted surround. The vase has a fold over rim with a gilded edge and has painted red makers marks ‘Doe & Rogers Worcester’ to the base and is also titled ‘Malvern’. In excellent original condition.
