Royal Worcester Attributed Figural Boy with Bundle of Wooden Twigs Spill Vase
About the Item
A very finely made antique porcelain spill vase portraying a boy with an axe carrying a large bundle of twigs attributed to Royal Worcester and dating from the 19th century. The figure is mounted on a round pedestal base and is seated bare footed on a rock work ground and clutching a large tied bundle of twigs which forms the spill vase. He wears green trousers and an orange top with peak hat to one side. An axe lies on the ground next to the boy and the figure is nicely painted with good details the base with a gilded and pink painted rim. The spill vase is not marked.
In good presentable condition with a colored in chip to the edge of the spill vase.
