English Staffordshire Porcelain Large Puce Tulip Vase

English Porcelain Large Puce Tulip Vase, Staffordshire, Circa 1840 The charming and rare porcelain large tulip vase is formed from a fully open bloom. Thelarge tulip with puce colored striated leaves with four green leaves and another small flower head opening to the left side of the front, The vase sits on a gray brown shaped domed hollow base. The tulip is similarly decorated on the interior at the top of the vase. Dimensions: 6 3/4 inches high x 4 1/2 inches wide x 3 1/2 inches deep. Mark: Unmarked. There is a collection note in black "70.32.1964". (Ref: VM98725)

Vintage Porcelain Large Tulip Vase Pyramids, Chinese, Circa 2000 A pair of Tulipiere vases with each tulipiere made in four interconnecting pieces and painted in underglaze blue and white. The pattern is known as the Blue Onion Pattern. Each vase has twenty four openings for tulips or flowers opening to a hollow cavity for water. Dimensions: 31 1/4 inches tall x 8 3/4 inches square base. A "tulipiere" is a type of ornate vase, also known as a tulip vase or pyramid vase, designed to hold multiple stems of flowers, particularly tulips, in individual spouts. They are often made of Delftware and feature a shared water reservoir at the base. They are traditionally used for displaying cut flowers.
