"Trifoglio" (Clover) vase, model number 3085B, in PVC plastic, designed by Enzo Mari and produced by Danese Milano, c. 1970. The trilobite form, here rendered in the cane color, was intended to aid in flower arrangement. A seldom-seen offering by a designer who combined, at the highest level, formal artistry with industrial processes and materials. Round maker's tag underneath. Ref: Danese Milano catalog, 1976.
